Talking Teaching 2017
Cost: $150 + GST ($172.50 incl)
Talking Teaching will take place on 27 & 28 November 2017 at the historic and charming St Margaret's College in Dunedin. St Margaret's College is located right in the heart of the University of Otago campus.
The conference, hosted by the Ako Aotearoa Academy of Tertiary Teaching Excellence, is a conference for tertiary educators from across the education sector in New Zealand.
Talking Teaching is a day and half conference for the whole tertiary sector. The conference aims to draw a diverse range of teachers from around New Zealand leading to a stimulating exchange of ideas.
Dialogues among and between conference participants will lead to deeper understandings of a variety of teaching practices that inform participants' current and future practice and/or research projects.
We anticipate a broad discourse, stemming from a variety of standpoints, that will enrich participants' experience. Participants can expect a mix of oral presentations and practical or theoretical workshops.
Programme information including details on the call for papers process can be found on the conference website. The organising committee for Talking Teaching welcomes contributors to share their unique stories on any topic concering tertiary teaching practice or research into tertiary teaching.
We hope to see you there.
All fees are exclusive of GST
$150 - includes: conference sessions on 27 & 28 November, conference dinner on evening 27 November, afternoon tea on 27 November, morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea on 28 November, conference nametag and handbook.
